The final will take place from 12:00 to 16:00 and will feature ten finalists selected on the basis of pre-recorded performance samples. The competitors will be evaluated by a three-member jury consisting of youth worker and musician Sakari “Zachary” Hietala, known from Kuopio Rock Academy and the band Tarot; youth worker and musician Seppo Pohjolainen; and guitarist Elias Suhonen, the initiator of the event and a member of the bands S.P.I.T and Face the Legacy.

The best performance will be awarded a guitar donated by Musamaailma, along with product prizes provided by Musikantti. In addition to the competition, the final event will include a guitar clinic led by musician Erkka Korhonen. Korhonen is widely known as the founder and director of the Raskasta joulua project.

The event is free of charge, substance-free, and open to audiences of all ages.

Tilumestari 2026 is organised by the City of Jyväskylä Youth Services in cooperation with Musikantti and Musamaailma, who also provide the competition prizes and participate as exhibitors at the event.
